I am a Namibian Artist and I find it challenging to expand my personal creativity through the exploration of new artistic methods and mediums.
By painting, I can transform on to canvas, my personal journey through life through my imagination. Over the past few years, I have developed a very distinct taste for vibrant colours in various subjects and mediums.

My favourite medium is Oil and I love painting abstract modern art, seascapes and
landscapes. I like to capture the hidden magic of our urban environment,
and the beautiful country I live in. The beauty I try to capture in my Namibian scenes creates the ability to draw the viewer's attention to the magic around us and my Seascapes portray a relaxed, soothing and calm feeling.

I am most passionate about skies and how the colours in the sky can bring so much peace to the soul and give light to each moment.

Each painting is inspired by my everyday life experiences. Personally, I get most of my ideas for new paintings randomly, almost out of the blue and I have to put these on canvas immediately Anything can spark an idea-a movie, a book, an interesting turn of events in my day. . . sometimes a single colour or a song inspires me.

 

Seascapes and Coastal Themes
living at the coast and having always been a Sea-Child, this is my favourite theme.
The sea, hold so much mystery and so many secrets. I love to capture the images of white fog creeping from the cold sea over the coast and settle among the town and how the swift clouds can hide the sun in the ever-changing colours of the sky.
